Method: Mix all coating ingredients for tofu and mix well. Dip tofu in this and fry till golden. In the remaining oil, add ginger garlic paste and saute for a min. Add in onions, chillies and capsicum, salt, sugar and mix well. cook for couple of mins.

  1. Deep fry tofu cubes. Keep aside.
  2. Wash dry chillis -Soak dry chillis in boiling hot water for 10 minutes -Grind/Blend soaked dry chilli into a fine smooth paste. Keep aside.
  3. Add oil in pan. Add cinnamon stick and sliced onion. Saute until onion turned into glassy.
  4. Add in garlic and ginger paste. Stir well. After 1 minute add tomato slices, stir well.
  5. Add in chilli paste and stir well. Let it cook until oil breaks and separate from gravy. (Med flame) add salt to taste and sugar. Stir well.
  6. Add deep fried tofu and stir. Cook for 2 more minutes (until the gravy thickens)
  7. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
